£30 from Hein Gericke
They have the reputation as the ultimate winter glove, and it’s not bullshit. Quite simply the best winter glove I’ve ever seen, used or tried, and my arthritis makes my hands very susceptible to cold. They remain waterproof for bloody *ages*, and are very, very warm. They do take a while to dry out though, so if you do loads of rainy miles just get a second pair … at only £30 you’d be daft not to. The 2 finger design is obviously not as good, control-wise, as a summer glove, but it’s miles better than many other winter gloves.
As a general comment, the *only* budget bike kit I’ve seen that seems to be worth a light is Hein Gericke … the rest is mostly rubbish.
