Hit a Wet Bit
BY Salad Dodger
clues | June 23, 2002

Same TS185 (there's a pattern emerging), new shocks (don't know what from), down at the banks of the Medway, near Motney Hill.

Nailing it across the tidal mudflats, hit a wet bit at around 40.

Front wheel stopped. Dead.

Bike, and rider, pivoted around front axle, before rider was launched about 15yds through the air, into the soggy, smelly, oily, sticky mud.

Oh, *how* my mother laughed when I got home.
