For the money, not a bad bit of kit at all.  Comes with the usual waterproof Shelltex membrane... which is actually quite waterproof for a while.  But after more than an hour or so of pissing rain, everything underneath starts to feel distinctly clammy.  The top chest pockets are waterproof, but the tops dont exactly close very well, so not brilliant really.  Ive been using the thermal liner since mid October, and even now in the middle of November its fine with just a T shirt underneath for around town, but if you going to haul yourself any distance then a fleece underneath is going to be needed. I wore mine through the summer (sans liner), but got a bit hot and sticky on really hot days.  But so does anything thats going to offer protection in a binning...

Neck flap is a little on the small side, but then I do have a rather thick neck....
